Alpha is a former railroad siding in central Eureka County. This was once the most important station on the Eureka & Palisade Railroad; a small town had been formed here in 1875 with a total population of 75 residents.

How to Get ThereEdit

Like many former railroad sidings in Nevada, very little remains of Alpha. All that does remain sits on the privately-owned Alpha Range, 38 miles north of Eureka along SR 278.
