Better known as "The Pyramid." An island located in the southeastern portion of Pyramid LakePronounced "UH-nuh-hoe."

The Anaho Island National Wildlife Refuge protects a large colony of American White Pelicans, one of the two largest pelican colonies in the western United States, while supporting ample breeding colonies of a wide variety of other bird species, including California gulls, Great blue herons, and snowy egrets. While fully visible from any point on Pyramid Lake on the Pyramid Lake Indian Reservation, island access remains highly restricted with public access and boats prohibited within 500 feet of the island.
